Economic, political, or religious upheaval forced theose other rebrandings. In this case, however, Peta hopes (euros)10,000 and a love of animals will persuade Germany's second city to change its name from Hamburg to Veggieburg. And rumours are rife that Peta may extend its offer to the Shetland hamlet of Ham, which, Peta hopes, will change its name to Veggie, in a spirit of animal-friendly solidarity
