ON THE PAYING IN BY RUSSIA IN 2003-2004 OF A CONTRIBUTION TO THE IMF/WORLD BANK GROUP TRUST FUND FOR THE FINANCING OF THE PROGRAM OF DEBT RELIEF FOR THE POOREST COUNTRIES

DECREE No. 227-r of February 19, 2003
1. In order to implement the decisions adopted at the G8 Summit in Kananaskis on June 26-27, 2002, to adopt the proposal from the Russian Ministry of Finance, cleared with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for the paying in by the Russian Federation in 2003-2004 a contribution of 10 million US dollars into the Trust Fund of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group for the financing of the program of debt relief for the poorest countries.
The Russian Ministry of Finance shall inform the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group of the decision adopted.
2. The Russian Ministry of Finance shall, in the draft 2004 federal budget, provide for funds to make the contribution to the Trust Fund of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group for the financing of the program of debt relief for the poorest countries.
To establish that in 2003, those funds shall be contributed out of federal budget savings under the sections relating to international activity.
