international conference of the world's leading experts on policing and security will be held in Montreal next
week. Over 100 internationally renowned speakers from 22 countries, including Germany, the United States, Greece,
France, Russia, Chile, the United Kingdom, and South Africa will examine the complex relationship between public and
private police in a series of workshops and panel discussions. Topics addressed will include policing post 9/11,
cyber-security, forensic investigations, trans-national policing and policing and security in a 24-hour news channel

in different countries. They will examine the common trends and best practices that can be applied to different nations.
The Living Law Forum on Wednesday night is free of charge and open to the general public. The conference is sponsored by
