Russian premier, trade minister report conflicting unemployment figures
Moscow, 26 December: Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov told journalists today that Russia's unemployment
rate has dropped from 8.2 per cent in 2001 to 7.1 per cent of the total number of economically active population.
