Poland joins donors to Russian chemical disarmament
MOSCOW. Dec 23 (Interfax) - Poland has joined the list of donors to the Russian chemical disarmament program. "Despite its budget deficit and a huge unemployment rate, Poland has decided to assist Russia's chemical disarmament. Poland understands the importance of the Convention," Director General of the Russian Ammunition Agency Zinovy Pak said Monday. Polish assistance will make up hundreds of thousands of dollars, Pak said. "Its size will enlarge, and it will amount to millions of dollars in assistance to Russian chemical disarmament in the future," he said.
