A group of deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia with Aslambek Aslakhanov in the lead was received in Baghdad by Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister Tariq Aziz. As Aslakhanov has reported, during the meeting an exchange of views on Russian-Iraqi relations took place. The deputies met also with Dr. Saedoun Hamadi, the chairman of the Iraqi National Council, with the Health Minister and the representatives of other ministries and departments.
