Question: What steps is the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs taking in relation to the air crash in Germany?
Answer: Staff members of the Russian Embassy in Germany are maintaining the closest contact with the German agencies and services engaged in the investigation of the causes and elimination of the consequences of the air crash. Today at night the Russian Consul General in Bonn flew to the scene of the accident. The Russian Consulate General in Bonn has already assigned its diplomatic representative to a commission that is being set up by the German side to investigate the causes of the crash.
The Russian Embassy in Germany has urgently set up a special plane crash hotline: for a call from Moscow 8-10-49-30-224-871-33.
The Ministry is rendering all the necessary consular and visa support to the representatives of Russian organizations who will fly to the crash scene.
