A Government meeting has approved the draft order to allocate in 2002 to the Government of the Chechen Republic, for eliminating the consequences of the floods that occurred in June-July 2002, from the reserve fund of the Government of the Russian Federation for emergency prevention and liquidation and disaster clean-up a total of 92,821.5 thousand rubles, of which 16,932 thousand rubles for the rendering of lump-sum material assistance, 51,330 thousand rubles for the rendering of government assistance to citizens in relation to loss of property, and 24,559.5 thousand rubles for the financing of urgent emergency-repair works at housing-and-utilities and social-sector facilities.
