Secretary of the Indian National Security Council Brajesh Mishra is arriving in Moscow on Sunday for an official visit at the invitation of Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Vladimir Rushailo.
His visit program envisages two rounds of talks in the Security Council of the Russian Federation, and meetings in the Government of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Russia.
During the Russian-Indian talks, a number of questions relating to the cooperation of the two countries in the political, economic, military and other spheres are expected to be discussed. In the center of attention will be questions of coordination between the two countries in ensuring mutual and general security, and discussion of joint actions in the fight against international terrorism, religious extremism, and the illegal spread of narcotics.
The visit will last until September 18.
