ON THE SUBMISSION BY RUSSIAN PRESIDENT TO THE STATE DUMA OF THE TREATY BETWEEN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ON STRATEGIC OFFENSIVE REDUCTIONS

On December 7 President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of Russia for ratification the Treaty Between the Russian Federation and the United States of America on Strategic Offensive Reductions.
In the nearest future the Russian parliament will continue in the format of hearings the earlier-begun discussion of this Treaty, signed in the course of the Russian-American summit in Moscow in May 2002.
