The New TNN Says Thank Goodness for Bond This Thanksgiving Weekend
As the new home of the Bond movie franchise, this Thanksgiving The New TNN will present a Thank Goodness For Bond
54-hour movie marathon, beginning Wednesday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Dec. 1. The network will present each movie of this
popular franchise uncut.
In addition to the movie telecasts, The New TNN will continue its special on-air campaign, "James Bond for the
21st Century," featuring new bands and performers who have re-recorded the famous themes from Bond movies including
GOLDFINGER, THE SPY WHO LOVED ME, and DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER. With unique interpretations, the performers have integrated
classic Bond themes with a variety of musical styles, ranging from rock, to hip-hop, to jazz, to pop, to electronica and
R&B. These new re-recorded songs have been cut together with Bond movie footage for a series of innovative
promotional spots. The New TNN's Thank Goodness For Bond marathon includes: * Wednesday, Nov. 27 (9:00-Midnight,
ET/PT) DR. NO (1963, TV-PG) In his first movie, British Agent 007, James Bond, is sent to Jamaica to investigate the
murder of a fellow operative. Bond's inquiries soon establish a connection between the death, a spate of recent
failures in the U.S. space program, and the mysterious Dr. No. Starring Sean Connery and Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder.
* Wednesday, Nov. 27 (Midnight-3:00 AM, ET/PT) FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE (1964, TV-PG) Evil crime cartel SPECTRE seeks
revenge for the death of its operative Dr. No and sets a trap to lure British agent James Bond to his death. The bait is
a Soviet encryption machine called a Lektor, which the British Secret Service is desperate to get a hold of. Starring
