Russian gas company reports rise in exports
Moscow, 21 June (Prime-TASS) - The natural gas exports of Gazexport, the export arm of Russian natural gas monopoly Gazprom, rose 9.8 per cent on the year in January-May to 67.66bn cu.m., the company said in a press release on Monday [21 June]. The company's gas exports to countries outside the CIS rose 7.19 per cent on the year to 65.6bn cubic metres, including gas exports to Western Europe of 46.68bn cu.m., up 13.03 per cent, and exports to Eastern Europe of 18.92bn cu.m., down 4.9 per cent.
