Football: Euro 2004: SQUAD NEWS - RUSSIA
COACH Georgi Yartsev is not sure he will keep his job for the World Cup qualifying campaign after his side's dismal showing. "I have a contract until 2005," said Yartsev. "It's up to the executive board of the Russian football union to decide if they want changes.'' Russia were the first nation to be eliminated, losing their opening games against Spain and Portugal. Yartsev sent home Aleksandr Mostovoi, one of his most experienced players, after Mostovoi criticised his training methods. Yartsev was appointed following the sacking of Valeri Gazzaev in August of last year. He steered Russia to Euro 2004 via the play-offs.
