RUSSIA: PEOPLESOFT ENTERS RUSSIAN MARKET
US-based business software giant PeopleSoft announced plans to launch a Russian version of its popular EnterpriseOne
application and to establish a Moscow office that will serve as headquarters for the company's operations in
Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Some IT experts called PeopleSoft's entry into Russia
overdue. PeopleSoft's biggest competitor, Germany's SAP, has been in Russia for more than a decade. The
Russian version of EnterpriseOne, a software solution for medium-sized to large manufacturing and asset-intensive
