17 June 2004 04:13 U.S. looks become big Russian liquefied gas buyer - Yazev YEKATERINBURG. June 17 (Interfax) - The United States want to be buying up to 25-30 million tonnes of liquefied
natural annually from Russia by 2015, head of the State Duma energy, transport and communications committee Valery Yazev
said Thursday.
Russia is not now shipping this kind of gas to the United States, Yazev said at a press conference in Yekaterinburg
about his working visit to the U.S.
"They are not trying to impose their view on the courts, but want
public openness and transparency," he said. An open process is a

That money could be used for building plants that liquefy gas, for prospecting and developing deposits, for building
transportation networks in the oil and gas complex, he said.

Russia and want to see the Yukos process be more open and public.
