Russia can guarantee 7% economic growth by 2008 - Kudrin
MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - Russia will be able to ensure steady economic growth of 7% by 2008, Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said at a government meeting Thursday. "If we use administrative resources and carry out structural reforms, I am sure we will see a steady rate [of growth]," he said. Structural reforms will lead to a reduction in subsidies, especially in the housing and utilities sector, he said. "If we carry out structural reforms, it will contain tariff growth and lower company spending," the minister said. [RU ASIA EUROPE EEU EMRG ECI] me
