Gazprom to increase forex revenue 6.1% in 2004
MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - Russian gas giant Gazprom plans to earn $17.5 billion in hard currency revenue in 2004, compared with $16.5 billion in 2003, company Deputy CEO Yury Komarov said at a press briefing Moscow on Thursday. He said that this is a conservative forecast and this indicator may be higher. Komarov also said that in the first half of this year Gazprom's forex revenue amounted to $9.4 billion compared with $8.8 billion in the first half of last year. He said that averaged out for the year the growth in Gazprom exports amounts to about 2.1% and the growth in forex revenue - 12.4%. [RU EUROPE ASIA EEU EMRG ENR ELG NGS RESF] rd
