Russia`s 2005 budget must promote economic growth - PM
MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) -The macroeconomic forecast and the Russian federal 2005 budget parameters must be conducive to accelerating the country's economic growth, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said in opening a Cabinet meeting on Thursday "The 2005 budget and subsequent budgets must lead to accelerated economic growth with improved competitiveness of Russian goods and a higher standard of living, and state services need to be readily accessible, the Armed Forces modernized and powers shared," he said.
