17 June 2004 20:41 Russia`s 2005 budget must promote economic growth - PM MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) -The macroeconomic forecast and the Russian federal 2005 budget parameters must be
conducive to accelerating the country's economic growth, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov said in opening a Cabinet
meeting on Thursday
"The 2005 budget and subsequent budgets must lead to accelerated economic growth with improved competitiveness
of Russian goods and a higher standard of living, and state services need to be readily accessible, the Armed Forces
modernized and powers shared," he said.
The macroeconomic forecast and budget parameters must also promote macroeconomic stability and help keep inflation
