Dalsvyaz board approves Primtelefon sale
MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - The board of directors of OAO Dalsvyaz at a meeting on June 11 approved the sale to OAO Mobile TeleSystems of a 50% stake in ZAO Primtelefon, which provides NMT-450 and GSM 900/1800 standard cellular services, Dalsvyaz said in a press release. Earlier the Dalsvyaz board of directors accepted a proposal from MTS to sell this stake in Primtelefon for $31 million. The board confirmed the conditions of a purchase and sale agreement and the deal should be completed at the start of the third quarter 2004. [RU EUROPE ASIA EEU EMRG TEL STX] rd <>
