INCREASED TRANSSHIPMENT THROUGH PRIMORSK UNDER DISCUSSION
PRIMORSK. June 16 (Interfax) - The possibility of increasing oil transshipment through Primorsk to 62 million tonnes per year will be discussed during the work of a permanent prime ministerial body dealing with the potential for developing the country's transport and export possibilities, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov told journalists on Friday. "This issue is being discussed, this is an important issue," Fradkov said. The prime minister said that a decision needs to be reached on the possibilities and capacities of oil companies that should ensure an increase in oil transshipment through Primorsk to 62 million tonnes per annum. This is closely linked with the transport component, Fradkov said.
