MOSCOW. June 16 (Interfax) - The agenda for a meeting of the Interstate Council of the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEc) in Astana, Kazakhstan on Friday includes the discussion of plans for the accession of EurAsEc members to the World Trade Organization (WTO). "It is planned to pay special attention to the development of cooperation in the fields of energy and transportation," he said. "As an important part of the forthcoming meeting of the Interstate Council, the heads of the community's member-states will sign a treaty on the status of the legislative fundamentals of the Eurasian Economic Community, and on the procedure for their drafting, approval and enforcement, and an agreement on cooperation between EurAsEc member- states in the securities market," he said. The meeting will also discuss "the process of implementation of the Fundamentals of the Border Control Policy of EurAsEc member-states," he said.
