ST. PETERSBURG. June 15 (Interfax) - The Romanian oil refinery Petrotel, in which Russian oil major Lukoil has a 51%
stake, will start work in July after an upgrade, Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov told Interfax.

product yield was 85%-87% and the refinery produced motor oil,
conditions in Romania. Lukoil began upgrading the refinery, with a
lubricants and petrochemicals. The upgrade will allow the refinery to produce fuel according to European quality
standards. Lukoil has invested more than $150 million in upgrading Petrotel.
