15 June 2004 16:02 MIG DELIVERS FIRST IL-103 PLANES TO SOUTH KOREA MOSCOW. June 15 (Interfax) - The Russian MIG aircraft building corporation has delivered the first two Il-103 planes
to South Korea under a contract to deliver 20 such aircraft.
This is the largest contract for Il-103 planes, Director of the Regional MIG Department Sergei Chumachenko told
Interfax. Some of the planes will be delivered to help pay Russia's debt and the rest will be delivered for cash.
All the planes should be delivered by 2006.
Smaller consignments of three or four Il-103 planes were delivered earlier to Latin America and Belarus.
