Russia awarded contract to fix helicopters for Colombian military
Russia has won a tender to repair nine Mi-17 helicopters in Colombian army service. The contract worth 18m dollars was signed by Colombia's Defence Ministry and Russian government representatives. Our helicopters are mostly employed to fight radical insurgent movements in Colombia. They have proven themselves in operations to airlift troops and hardware to remote areas.
