Case against former Yukos employee sent to court
MOSCOW. June 11 (Interfax) - The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has sent the case against former Yukos security official Alexei Pichugin to the Moscow City Court. Alexei Peshkun will be a co-defendant in the trial, a prosecution official told Interfax on Friday. Pichugin is accused of organizing the murder of the Gorin couple in Tambov in 2002, attempting to kill Olga Kostina, a former adviser to Yukos CEO Mikhail Khodorkovsky, and former Menatep bank employee Sergei Kolesov. Pichugin was detained in Moscow on June 19, 2003. Moscow's Basmanny court authorized his arrest on July 21. He is being held at the Lefortovo remand center. [RU EUROPE ASIA EMRG CRIM CRU] ap aw
