11 June 2004 21:47 Russia still seeking ZakayevTs extradition MOSCOW. June 11 (Interfax) - A senior State Duma official said that everything possible is being done to have Chechen
separatist leader Akhmed Zakayev extradited to Russia.
Kosachev said that the Russian Foreign Ministry issued "a tough
statement" as soon as it became known that Zakayev had arrived in
Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the State Duma's international relations committee, said that he disagrees with
Liberal Democratic Party member Alexei Mitrofanov, who criticized "the Russian authorities for not reacting in any
way to Zakayev's trips around Europe, including to Norway."

and put on trial," he said.
Kosachev said that he held a telephone conversation with Russian Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov on Friday
