GAZ to supply $14 mln in vehicles to Iraq
The source said that the company plans to supply water trucks,
fuel vehicles and about 600 diggers to Iraq through the military
NIZHNY NOVGOROD. June 10 (Interfax) - OAO Gorky Automobile Plant (GAZ), which is part of the holding company
Ruspromavto, plans to carry out a contract to supply 700 special purpose vehicles to Iraq, worth a total of about $14
million, by the end of 2004, a source in the company's press service told Interfax.

The press service said that in June GAZ supplied a first consignment of 283 Sadko GAZ-33081 four-wheel drive vehicles
to Iraq. The next consignment of 360 vehicles, worth over $4 million, will be delivered to Iraq by September 30 this
year. Under a contract signed in April this year the plant plans to supply 3,000 Sadko vehicles to Iraq over a year -
