MAHINDRA HOLIDAYS EYEING GLOBAL PROPERTIES (to set up resorts in Singapore and Malaysia)
Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd is looking to acquire properties in Eastern Europe and Russia in a bid to
take its brand global. It already has a presence in Bangkok and intends to set up resorts in Singapore and Malaysia.
It has also set up a company called Mahindra Holidays USA to acquire resort properties in the US. The company claims
to operate resorts in all the popular tourist destinations and has about 25,000 timeshare members.
