Oil exports in Q3 confirmed at 49.8 mln tonnes
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - The plan for transporting Russian export oil through the Transneft pipeline system in the third quarter 2004 has been confirmed at 38.5 million tonnes to outside the former Soviet Union and 11.3 million tonnes to former Soviet republics. The Russian Industry and Energy Ministry approved this volume at a meeting to discuss the use of trunk oil, gas and product pipelines on Wednesday, the ministry's PR service said in a press release. Gas exports in the third quarter are planned at 39.3 billion cubic meters, down by 900 million cubic meters or 2.2%. Gas supplies to Oil transit from CIS states through the Transneft system in the third quarter has been confirmed at 7.2 million tonnes. The plan for oil exports in the third quarter 2004, with transshipment from the Transneft system into rail tank cars through the Tikhoretsk rail oil terminal has been confirmed at 1 million tonnes. outside the former Soviet Union will increase by 900 mcm or 3%, with supplies to former Soviet republics down by 1.8 bcm or 18%.
