Basic Element not planning to up stake in RusAl
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - The owners of a 75% stake in Russian Aluminum, which is managed by the company Basic Element, do not plan to increase their stake in RusAl, Basic Element Board Chairman Oleg Deripaska said. Basic Element shareholders maintain preferential rights to buy the other 25% stake, which is held by Millhouse shareholders, but do not see any reason to increase their stake right now, he said. Basic Element knows all the beneficiaries of the companies that own the 25% stake and they do not include business tycoon Boris Berezovsky or his companion Badri Patarkatsishvili, he added. When RusAl was established, the shareholders agreed that all disputes would be considered in London courts. [RU ASIA EUROPE EEU EMRG ALU STX MET] me
