Russia`s foreign debt falls to $116.2 bln
MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - Russia's foreign debt decreased by 208.8 billion rubles in January-March 2004 and was 3.32 trillion rubles or $116.2 billion on April 1, the Finance Ministry said in materials drafted for a government meeting. The government will on June 10 discuss a Finance Ministry report on federal budget implementation in the first quarter. Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin will present the report. Russia's domestic debt grew by 41.4 billion rubles in the first quarter and was 723.4 billion rubles on April 1, 2004. Russia's total debt decreased by 167.4 billion rubles and was 4.04 trillion rubles on April 1. The Finance Ministry paid 77.8 billion rubles on serving the state debt in the first quarter.
