EvrazHolding output falls 1.7% in 5 mths
MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax) - EvrazHolding, Russia's largest steel producer, reduced commercial roll output 1.7%
year-on-year to 981,100 tonnes in January-May 2004, EvrazHolding said in press release.
Crude steel production fell 2.4% to 5.6 million tonnes and pig iron production fell 6.7% to 4.71 million tonnes.
In May alone, EvrazHolding produced 1.01 million tonnes of commodity roll, 976,100 tonnes of pig iron and 1.16
million tonnes of steel.
