SYRIA: SYRIA AND RUSSIA SIGN MOU ON OIL AND GAS FIELD COOPERATION
According to "SANA", Syria and Russia signed a memo of understanding between the Ministry of Oil and
Mineral resources and the Russian Gas Brom. Co. The memo provides for the possibility that the Russian Company
participates in the tenders of the Oil Ministry and its subsidiary institutions. Both sides agreed to act jointly with
the Syrian Petroleum Company in developing oil and gas fields' insides and outside Syria, and they discussed the
possibility to cooperate with the Egyptian-Syrian Company for Oil Services. They discussed also the possibility of
exchanging the expertise, technical experiments between the two sides in order to enhance the aspects of
cooperation.
