All six men charged with murdering Russian reporter acquitted
Moscow, 10 June: The Moscow District Military Court once again acquitted all six defendants in the trial over the murder of Moskovskiy Komsomolets newspaper correspondent Dmitriy Kholodov. An ITAR-TASS correspondent reports from the courtroom that the court found former intelligence chief of the Airborne Troops Pavel Popovskikh, deputy managing director of the ROSS private security company Aleksandr Kapuntsov, businessman Konstantin Barkovskiy, commander of the special detachment of the 45th Airborne Troops Regiment Vladimir Morozov and his two deputies, Maj Aleksandr Soroka and Maj Konstantin Mirzoyants, not guilty.
