Russia reports increase in forex, gold reserves on 4 June
Moscow, 10 June: Russia's foreign exchange and gold reserves were up to 85.6bn US dollars as of 4 June, from 85.4bn dollars as of 28 May, the Central Bank of Russia (CBR) said on Thursday [10 June]. The foreign exchange and gold reserves stood at 76.9bn dollars as of 1 January this year, up from 47.8bn dollars on 1 January 2003. [Passage omitted]
