AVTODIESEL MAY SET UP PRODUCTION IN CHINA, VIETNAM
MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - Russia's Avtodiesel, also known as Yaroslavl Motor Plant, a Ruspromavto subsidiary, may set up production of engines in China and Vietnam. The company said on its website that "representatives from China and Vietnam approached Yaroslavl Motor Plant with proposals to set up engine production, and commercial proposals have been prepared." The website also said that talks have been held with the Czech company Tatra for the installation of Yaroslavl engines in automobiles supplied by that company to the Russian market.
