Components for licensed production of SU-30MKI`s delivered to India
BANGALORE/MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - The first two kits for assembling SU-30MKI fighter planes have been delivered from Russia to India, a spokesman for Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. (HAL) said on Tuesday. "The first batch of components for licensed production of SU-30MKI planes at the HAL corporation's plants has been delivered to the Indian city of Nasik," the spokesman told Interfax. The first of the 140 fighters to be produced under license in India will leave HAL's production lines before the end of the year, he said. For details, see the Interfax-Military News Agency newswire.
