Avangard Bank gets $5 mln loan for Ryazan co. equipment shipments
MOSCOW. June 8 (Interfax) - Avangard Bank has raised a 3-year $5-million loan on the Western market for financing
equipment shipments to Ryazan-based Svetoviye Tekhnologii, a subsidiary of the bank Avangard -Lizing.
An Avangard press release says the contract stipulates Svetoviye Tekhnologii will take delivery of a second line for
the production of electric lighting equipment. Its first (roughly $1 million) line went into operation in 2003. Export
credit agencies SACE (Italy), ODL (Luxembourg) and CESCE (Spain) are providing guarantees for the loan. [RU EUROPE EEU
