offering Canadians two chances to fulfill their hockey dreams. The company announced that it will begin accepting
auction bids today for the opportunity to drop the puck during opening ceremonies of the upcoming Canada-Russia game at
the World Cup of Hockey on September 4, 2004 at Toronto's Air Canada Centre. Bids will be accepted online at
www.walmartwalkformiracles.ca and proceeds will be donated to The Wal-Mart Walk for Miracles, an annual walkathon to
benefit the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) and children's hospitals across Canada. The company also
announced that Wendel Clark, one of the Toronto Maple Leafs hockey club's most popular players of all time, will be
on-hand at the first inaugural Wal-Mart Walk for Miracles on Sunday, June 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at
Toronto's Coronation Park to sign autographs, greet walk participants and help launch the walkathon. Made available
through the generosity of LEGO Systems Inc., the World Cup of Hockey auction prize includes: Airfare for four from any
major Canadian city to Toronto; two nights accommodation; four tickets to the September 4th Canada-Russia hockey game at
the World Cup of Hockey at Toronto's Air Canada Centre; and the chance for the winning bidder to participate in the
ceremonial puck drop at the game. Bidding is open at www.walmartwalkformiracles.ca and will close at midnight, Saturday,

their individual region of Canada by visiting www.walmartwalkformiracles.ca. The website also enables participants to
register for the Toronto walkathon. - Special in-store fundraising events to complement the walkathon will take place in
