Court action against hunger striking Russian miners ends
[Presenter] The decision is final and not subject to appeal. The Supreme Court of Khakassia has today ended criminal proceedings against employees of the Yeniseyskaya mine who went on [hunger] strike in the middle of May. They were accused of putting part of the mine and a district in Chernogorsk at risk of flooding because they stopped pumping out ground water. At the court hearings a representative of the prosecutor's office confirmed that the case against the miners had been withdrawn. The investigation has been ended. [Passage omitted: known facts]
