RTS president to be elected in Sept
MOSCOW. June 7 (Interfax) - The RTS Stock Exchange, a non-commercial partnership, will hold an AGM and elect a new president in September 2004, acting president of the exchange Sergei Rodionov told the press. Vladislav Streltsov, the former RTS president, was appointed deputy chief of the Federal Financial Markets Service in April. The annual meeting of the exchange's members is usually held in June, but it has been postponed to September because of the postponed launch of the RTS Stock Exchange joint stock company, a subsidiary of the non-commercial partnership, to which share trading for rubles is to be transferred, Rodionov said.
