Dushanbe, 8 June: The chairman of the board of the Unified Energy System of Russia, Anatoliy Chubays, will arrive in Tajikistan tomorrow morning. He will attend the 25th session of the CIS Energy Council in Dushanbe on 10-11 June. Asia-Plus has learnt from the presidential press centre that Chubays is scheduled to meet Tajik President Emomali Rahmonov tomorrow afternoon. Their conversation is mainly to focus on the issue of collaboration between the energy systems of Russia and Tajikistan, particularly in the forthcoming autumn and winter period. It is not ruled out that they will also touch upon the issue of setting up a common electricity energy market of CIS countries, as well as the construction of the Sangtuda hydroelectric power station [in southern Tajikistan].
