Russia and Mexico sign five documents
Mexico, 7 June: Five joint documents were signed in Mexico in the presence of the presidents of Russia and Mexico, Vladimir Putin and Vincente Fox. These are the treaty "On handing over persons sentenced to deprivation of freedom for serving their sentences", an agreement between the governments of Russia and Mexico on avoiding double taxation on income tax, an agreement on cooperation between the [Russian] Vneshtorgbank [Foreign Trade Bank] and the National Foreign Trade Bank of Mexico, an agreement between the Vneshekonombank, Roseksimbank and the National Foreign Trade Bank of Mexico on cooperation in joint financing of export to third countries, as well as a memorandum on cooperation and mutual understanding between the Ministry of Culture and Mass Communications of Russia and Mexico's National Council for Culture and Art in 2004-2007.
