Springer launches first international news magazine in Russian ("Russkij Newsweek" startet)
Axel Springer Verlag, the German publishing group, is planning to launch its first international news magazine in Russian today. The magazine, entitled 'Russkij Newsweek', will be the company's second publication for the Russian market, after 'Forbes Russia'. The company has published a version of 'Newsweek' in Poland since September 2001; this is currently the leader on the market for news magazines in Poland, with a print run of 202,365.
