Finance Ministry pays 120.4 bln rubles in foreign debt
MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Russian foreign debt payments in January-May 2004 amounted to 120.4 billion rubles, according to early figures from the Russian Finance Ministry on the implementation of the federal budget in January-May. The amount of funds spent on paying foreign debt amounted to 79.4% of the adjusted budget target for the first half. In addition, 77.9 billion rubles were paid out in interest, or 65.9% of the adjusted budget target for the first half. Expenditure on servicing foreign debt in may amounted to 7.1 billion rubles, including 5.9 billion rubles in coupon payments on OVVZ bonds. [RU EUROPE ASIA EEU EMRG ECI GVD] rd <>
