04 June 2004 02:49 TNK-BP gets 5 of 9 seats on Rusia board IRKUTSK. June 4 (Interfax) - Representatives from TNK-BP were elected to five of the nine seats on the board of
directors of Kovykta operator Rusia Petroleum, the Rusia press service said.
The new board of directors was elected at the company's annual shareholders meeting in Irkutsk on Friday.
The main Rusia Petroleum shareholders are TNK-BP, with about 63%
of shares, Interros (25.82%) and the Irkutsk regional property
The new board also includes two representatives each from Irkutsk region and from Interros.
TNK-BP Managing Director for Production and Technology Victor Vekselberg was confirmed as chairman of the board.
Rusia Petroleum is the operator at the Kovykta gas condensate field in Russia's Irkutsk region.
