04 June 2004 22:47 UES CEO backs govtTs economic growth targets MOSCOW. June 4 (Interfax) - Anatoly Chubais, CEO of the Unified Energy System (UES) of Russia power monopoly,
supports the government- suggested targets of Russia's economic growth.
"The economy growing by 7%-8% a year is an absolutely positive indicator. This rate of growth is sensible,
reasonable and sustainable," Chubais said at the Corporate Governance and Economic Growth conference in Russia on
Friday.

"Nothing can be done instantly. We, however, really need to strengthen domestic growth factors by lessening our
