Uralsvyazinform plans to up revenues to 28-29 bln rubles in 2005
MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - Uralsvyazinform plans to increase its revenues to 28-29 billion rubles in 2005 against this year's planned 24 billion rubles, company general director Vladimir Rybakin announced at the international conference Corporate Governance and Economic Growth in Russia on Thursday. "Profit growth in 2005 should come to 30%, EBITDA growth will make it possible to finance 60% of the investment program with own funds, where only 45% of own funds are invested now," Rybakin said. The company is continuing to reform its corporate governance. Among its near-term goals are creating committees for auditing, personnel and awards, and carrying out a program for communicating with investors as a means of improving informational transparency. "Ernst & Young audits us, but we have an auditor-rotation principle and will change it next year," Rybakin said. Company operating profits will increase 26% to $227 million in 2004, spending from $455 to $568 million. [RU EUROPE EEU ASIA EMRG TEL RESF CORA] cf
