03 June 2004 05:26 Sibneft ups oil production 12.1%, cuts exports 7.1% MOSCOW. June 3. (Interfax) - Russia's Sibneft produced 10.957 million tonnes of oil in the first four months of
2004, 12.1% more than in the same period of last year.
The company said it exported 3.791 million tonnes, down 7.1% year- on-year.
Oil product exports fell 4.6% to 1.798 million tonnes.
Sibneft refined 5.85 million tonnes of crude in January-April 2004, up 0.9%. The Omsk refinery processed 4.725
million tonnes, or 11.1% more and the Moscow refinery 1.126 million tonnes, up 27.8%. The Yaroslavl refineries did not
process crude in the period.
Sibneft produced 1.414 million tonnes of gasoline in the four months of 2004, compared with 1.394 million tonnes
year-on-year. The Omsk refinery produced 1.087 million tonnes, compared with 1.058 million tonnes, and the Moscow
refinery 233,800 tonnes of gasoline, compared with 187,700 tonnes, plus 1.9 million tonnes of diesel, compared with
1.875 million tonnes, 1.077 million tonnes of fuel oil, compared with 1.19 million tonnes and 240,400 tonnes of aviation
fuel, compared with 208,600 tonnes.
Drilling totaled 176,178 meters in the four months, compared with 235,630 meters a year previously. [RU ASIA EUROPE
