03 June 2004 04:19 Emergency ministry evacuates Interenergoservis staff MOSCOW. June 3 (Interfax) - The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry is evacuating 47 Interenergoservis specialists
from Iraq, including the seriously wounded Anatoly Korenkov.
"The departure of an Il-76 transport plane is planned for 07:00 Moscow time on Friday. A team from the Emergency
Ministry is flying to Baghdad along with a six-member team of doctors from the Sklifosovsky Institute. The plane will
also contain medical equipment and supplies from the Emergency Ministry's rescue center, and an intensive care
unit," Victor Beltsov, head of the ministry's information department, told Interfax on Friday.
He said that the team of medics is flying with the necessary equipment to ensure Korenkov's safe return to
